Designer | P. Shea Design
With background rooted in high-design required of multi-million dollar estate homes for patron clients, to Traditional Neighborhood Development and speculative offerings for builders and developers; Preston Shea knew there was a niche to be found somewhere along this broad spectrum, and intended to deliver it. Thus, in 2005, P.SHEA | DESIGN was founded with the desire to deliver quality design in a practical manner. P.SHEA | DESIGN has evolved in such a direction as to be neither wholly traditional, nor contemporary in their design aesthetic; creating homes that are at once energetic and timeless… and always livable.
Interior Design | The Mix Interiors
Nashville based interior designer, Scarlett James, is a modern day storyteller. She founded The Mix Interiors in 2015 as the intersection of her passion for both design and people – creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but also thoughtful to how we live. Scarlett earned a degree in Account Management from the University of Tennessee, which she would later discover to be a solid foundation for operating her design business. Love, marriage and two kids later, she pursued her passion for design and began working with interior designer, Julie Couch. After six years of learning the trade and honing her own aesthetic, The Mix Interiors was born. Now, Scarlett has found her sweet spot with a design approach that is personal, warm, authentic and beautiful – the perfect mix!
Landscape Architect | Anne Daigh Landscape Architect
In our business, collaboration and communication are key. That makes Wade Rick an invaluable leader on our team. He’s an expert you can talk to—just as at ease chatting with a client as he is conferring with a contractor or designer. His giftedness in planning and guiding the building process may be a reflection of his early interest in architecture (his first course of study at Mississippi State before deciding on landscape architecture), as well as his experience working for a developer right out of college. With more than a decade in the field, he’s honed his knowledge and the range of skills our business requires. Today, this Nashville native uses his experience to help shape the landscapes and outdoor spaces of the city that he and his young family call home.
Founding partner of the Heard Newman team at Parks in Green Hills, Jonathan Heard, is a Nashville native who attended Brentwood Academy. He graduated from Furman University with a political science degree in 2007 and a Masters degree in Environmental Management from Samford University in 2010. He has been in the real estate industry since 2010 and brings a unique expertise to the team with a specialty in infill development, land use, zoning, and new construction. Jonathan has a passion for fly fishing, and spent 5 summers during college as a fly fishing guide in Colorado before moving home to Nashville. His time as a guide was valuable in developing interpersonal skills and being able to problem solve on the fly. He also enjoys snow skiing, playing golf, and exploring the culinary arts.
Founding partner of the Heard Newman team at Parks in Green Hills, Lacey Newman, has been selling real estate in Nashville for over 10 years. From the Atlanta area, Lacey graduated with a bachelor's degree in corporate communication from the College of Charleston in 2002, and a master of mass communication from the University of Georgia in 2003. Lacey moved to Nashville in 2003 and spent two years in pharmaceutical sales with Lilly before beginning her real estate career in 2005. She couples expertise in communication, public relations and marketing with her real estate experience to provide excellence and professionalism in both buyer and seller representation.
